Mohamed Khalil, MBA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking and real estate sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Special Assets Officer at Capital One since July 2013, Mohamed manages problem loans and the deposit portfolio, monitoring financial performance and mitigating loss exposure. Previously, as Vice President and CRE Specialty Underwriter, responsibilities included loan origination and underwriting in Commercial Real Estate, focusing on Multifamily Lending and other various asset types. Prior experience includes a role as a Tax/Accounting Associate at Salvatore Albanese & Co., CPAs, and an internship with the Long Island Real Estate Group. Educational credentials include an MBA from Binghamton University and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Hofstra University.
