Praveen Pathiyil

Praveen Pathiyil is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across major financial institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering in Incubation Technology at Capital One since March 2024, Pathiyil previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from August 2017 to March 2024, where Pathiyil also served as Vice President. Prior to that, Pathiyil was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs from April 2013 to August 2017 and contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP from June 2004 to March 2013, focusing on Fixed Income Electronic Trading and B-Pipe Development. Pathiyil's career began at Wipro Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer from June 1999 to December 2001. Pathiyil obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
