Raja Chattopadhyay

Raja Chattopadhyay is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Capital One since August 2014, where responsibilities include leading a Secured Card initiative and managing an enterprise-critical platform that handles over 2 million transactions daily. Prior roles include Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, contributing to design, development, and deployment using J2EE/Spring/REST, as well as working with Big Data and real-time streaming technologies. Earlier positions at HP involved re-engineering web applications, while tenures at Wipro Technologies and HCL Technologies encompassed various web development projects across multiple regions. Raja began a career as a Software Engineer at Best Buy. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, Raja holds a Master of Science degree.
