Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles across major companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Architecture at Capital One since September 2023, Thompson previously held the role of CTO at Sterling, where responsibility included leading the technology organization through a successful IPO. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering at Oracle, General Manager at Microsoft for Dynamics 365, and CTO/SVP at Salesforce.com. Thompson's earlier positions include Vice President at Disney Connected and Advanced Technologies, and Director roles at Expedia and Walt Disney Internet Group. Thompson holds a BA in Economic Geography from the University of Washington.
