Suzanne Hammett

Suzanne Hammett serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Risk Officer at Capital One, overseeing a $65 billion Commercial Loan Portfolio and contributing to the Capital One NA Executive Committee and the Commercial Bank Executive Leadership Team. In addition to this role, Suzanne is a member of the Board of Directors at Lydall, participating in the Audit and Compensation Committees. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Radian Group Inc., where responsibilities included establishing the risk function and interfacing with rating agencies and the Board. Prior roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. encompassed positions as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Policy Officer, where firm-wide credit policy was formulated, as well as various senior management roles focusing on credit and client coverage across diverse industries. Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Wellesley College.
