Xingzhang Zhu

Xingzhang Zhu is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in quantitative research and finance. Currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist at Capital One since February 2021, Xingzhang has previously held the roles of Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Intern at the same company. In addition to work at Capital One, Xingzhang is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society and founded the Applied Investment Research Group at the school level, focusing on quantitative research and portfolio management. Prior experience includes internships in quantitative research and trading strategies with 中国银河证券, equity research leadership at the UC Irvine Student Managed Investment Fund, and an M&A research internship with Harvey & Company LLC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration with a Finance track and Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
