Yaw Joseph Etse

Yaw Joseph Etse is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Head of Privacy, Open Banking, and External Data Sharing Engineering at Capital One since June 2023. In addition to this role, Yaw is actively involved in investment and mentorship positions as an Angel Fellow with On Deck and as an Angel Investor for multiple companies including Yemaachi Biotech, Finley Technologies, and VoxRay Games. As Co-Founder and CTO of Jewel ML, Yaw specializes in AI and machine learning personalization. With extensive experience in engineering leadership at Invitae from 2019 to 2023, Yaw has held multiple senior roles focusing on lab innovation and healthcare technology. Yaw is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Information Science from Cornell University, along with ongoing Master's studies in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
