Herlen Alencar

Herlen Alencar is an accomplished Interventional Radiologist with a robust career spanning over a decade in various prestigious medical institutions. Currently serving at Concord Hospital since July 2015, Herlen has also held prominent positions such as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program Director at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from July 2010 to June 2015. Additionally, Herlen was the President of the New England Society of Interventional Radiology from June 2013 to May 2014 and served as Chief of Vascular Interventional Radiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center from March 2011 to January 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and advanced training at Harvard Medical School, including specialized fellowships and residency programs in interventional radiology and molecular imaging.
