Liz Ferris has over a decade of experience in environmental resource management, with a current role as Manager of Policy and Planning at Capital Regional District since September 2013. Previously, Liz held various positions within the same organization, including Senior Project Coordinator for Resource Recovery and Corporate Climate Action Coordinator. Prior experience includes working as a writer for PICS Climate Change News Scan at Sauder School of Business and serving as Program Coordinator at Product Care Association. Additionally, Liz co-founded the goBEYOND Project and worked as a Climate Action Coordinator at UBC. Liz holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from The University of British Columbia in Resource Management and Environmental Studies, and Land and Food Systems, respectively.
