Carissa O'Meara

Carissa O'Meara is a dedicated professional with a strong background in marketing and event coordination currently serving as a Marketing & Events Specialist at Capital Rx since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Event Coordinator and Coordinator for Commercial Markets at the same organization. Carissa has also contributed to educational settings as a Student Teacher at both Bassick High School and Booth Hill Elementary School during late 2021, and as a Virtual Teacher earlier that year. Additional experience includes positions as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Sports Center of Connecticut and a Gymnastics and Cheerleading Coach at the Gymnastics and Cheerleading Academy of Connecticut. Carissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University, earned between 2017 and 2021.
