Jonathan Cogdell

Jonathan Cogdell's work experience includes a role as Sr. Application Security Engineer at Capital Solutions Group (CSG), starting in September 2022. Jonathan is also a Co-Founder of DMV in a Box since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Cyber System Security Engineer at Secure Innovations, LLC from February 2022 to September 2022. Jonathan served as a Cyber Systems Administrator for the Federal Govt from January 2021 to September 2022, where they oversaw technically oriented projects, created security metrics, and managed collaboration among teams. Previously, they worked as a Cyber Information Assurance Analyst / Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at Northrop Grumman from December 2019 to January 2021 and as a Security Analyst at Anne Arundel County Government from May 2019 to December 2019. Their earlier experience includes a role as a Linux/Unix Red Hat/CentOS System Administrator at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from March 2018 to May 2019 and as the Owner of Dev Web from March 2014 to February 2018, where they provided security consultant services and system/software integration to various clients.

Jonathan Cogdell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Technology Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in the time span from 2016 to 2020. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the Florida Institute of Technology, where they are expected to graduate in 2021.
