Goh Swee Chen

Goh Swee Chen is the current Director at Capitaland. Before that, they were the Head of Investment, Business Development & Leasing at Ascendas Funds Management (S) Ltd from August 2005 to February 2017. In this role, they were responsible for A-REIT's revenue growth and occupancy rate, as well as formulating, executing and reviewing investment strategies. Goh also identified and generated suitable investment opportunities (including overseas markets), structured and negotiated targeted acquisition and/or development deals, and explored and evaluated new businesses/segments to grow A-REIT’s portfolio.

Since joining Capitaland, Swee Chen has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth strategy and expanding its portfolio in Singapore and China. Goh has also been responsible for Capitaland’s investments and divestments, as well as leading the team in identifying new business opportunities. Under their leadership, Capitaland has achieved significant growth and is now one of the leading real estate developers in Asia.

Goh Swee Chen studied at the National University of Singapore, where they obtained a Master of Science in Real Estate. Goh is also certified by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in Capital Markets Services.
