Samantha P.

Samantha P. currently serves as the Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at CapitalCare, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Samantha was an Executive Communication Specialist at MacEwan University, providing communication support to the Office of the President and Office of the Provost, and also served as a Media Relations Advisor, developing strategies for media engagement. Samantha's experience includes working as a Press Secretary for the Government of Alberta, where responsibilities included media relations and content creation for the Minister. Additional positions include Freelance Journalist, Producer/Reporter at Alberta Primetime, Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, News Editor at Vue Weekly, News Director at CJSR, and President of the University of Alberta Students' Union. Samantha holds a Master of Journalism from Carleton University and a degree in Arts with a focus on Political Science and Creative Writing from the University of Alberta.
