Evan Frondorf has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Evan currently holds the position of Head of Risk and BSA Officer at CapitalOS since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant & Investor.
In terms of media and sports-related roles, Evan has been involved in several Olympics productions for NBC Sports. Evan was an Associate Producer for the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2021, Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022, and Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018. In these roles, they managed teams and produced graphics promoting Olympics coverage across multiple networks. Evan also worked with executives and researchers to manage and select programming schedules.
Evan's experience in writing includes being a Sports Writer for the Yale Alumni Magazine since August 2014. Evan has written numerous pieces for the magazine and its website, including cover stories for major events such as Yale's appearances in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and Frozen Four in women's hockey. Evan has also traveled for live coverage of various sports events.
In the technology and finance sector, Evan worked at Stripe, starting as a Risk Analyst in September 2016. Evan played a key role in preventing fraud and financial loss through targeted analytics and investigations. Evan later transitioned to different risk-related roles, including Risk & User Policy TPM/Program Manager and Risk Policy Lead for the Asia-Pacific region. Evan also served as the Head of Risk Strategy and Head of Risk Partnerships, Americas, where they managed teams and built relationships across product teams to influence risk and compliance needs.
Early in their career, Evan worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Innovation Law at UC Law San Francisco. Evan conducted research and managed projects on various legal topics related to patent law, pharmaceuticals, intellectual property, and antitrust.
Lastly, Evan has contributed as a Freelance Writer, including being a Contributor for ClickHole and contributing features for the Yale Herald and the Yale Daily News Magazine. Evan also worked on live game broadcasts as a spotter and statistics assistant for play-by-play announcers from networks such as NBC Sports Network and YES.
Evan Frondorf attended Oak Hills High School from 2006 to 2010. After completing high school, they enrolled at Yale University in 2010 and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. In 2012, Evan briefly studied at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a focus on Economics.
