Darren Stewart

Darren Stewart began their work experience in 2006 as a Formwork Carpenter at DDT Developments. Darren worked in this role until December 2009. From February 2010 to July 2011, Stewart was a Formwork Carpenter and Lead Deck Hand at Pryme PTY LTD. In June to August 2012, they had a summer co-op position at Suncor Energy as a Power Engineer ~ Plant Operator Trainee, working in a sulfur recovery plant. Since August 2013, Stewart has been working as a Power Engineer at Capital Power Corporation.

Darren Stewart obtained a Diploma of Technology in Power and Process Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from Sir Winston Churchill High from 1992 to 2004. In addition, they obtained a 3rd Class Power Engineer certification from ABSA in August 2013.
