Ian Ekelund, CFA, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in market assessment and forecasting. Since March 2017, Ian has served as a Senior Advisor at Capital Power, building a strong background in valuation and financial analysis through previous roles in the company. Prior experience includes a Financial Assistant/Finance & QA Analyst position at the University of Alberta from April 2014 to February 2017. Ian's culinary skills were honed through various cooking roles at The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald and other establishments. Ekelund holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Alberta and is a graduate of the CPA PEP program from CPA Canada, along with a Culinary Arts Diploma from NAIT.
