Pauline Li McLean

Pauline Li McLean currently serves as the Senior Vice President of External Relations and Chief Legal Officer at Capital Power, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, McLean held various legal leadership positions at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) from November 2009 to September 2023, including Vice President Law, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. McLean’s career includes experience as an Associate at Macleod Dixon LLP and in pharmaceutical sales and representation roles at Pfizer and Pharmacia. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, both obtained from the University of Calgary.
