Rodney Piwowar

Rodney (Rod) Piwowar is an experienced electrical and instrumentation professional with a career spanning over 15 years in the energy and construction sectors. Currently serving as Electrical I&C Coordinator at Capital Power since January 2024, Rod previously held roles such as Pre Commissioning E&I Lead at Fluor Corporation and Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Lead at Interpipeline - HPC. Rod's expertise encompasses quality control, commissioning, and start-up operations across various projects, including the Keeyask Hydro Generating Station and Shell's SUEX-1 upgrader. With a diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology and Electronics Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Rod has consistently demonstrated leadership and technical proficiency in diverse environments.
