TJ Prosise began their work experience in 2001 as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy. After serving in the Navy for six years, they joined Capital Power in 2007 as an Operations & Maintenance Technician. TJ gradually progressed in their career within the company and currently holds the position of Maintenance Manager.
TJ Prosise attended Coastline College from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Applied Nuclear Power Technology and Marine Engineering. In addition to their college education, they also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they obtained a Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from Cintas. In 2015, they received an EPA 608 Technician Universal certification from the EPA, as well as a Qualified Signalperson & Basic Rigger Certification from Southwest Industrial Rigging. In 2010, they acquired certifications as an Aerial Manlift Operator and a Forklift Operator from Safety Compliance Services.
