Ed Groves has always had an interest in numbers and problem-solving. After studying accounting and finance at university, they began their career as a reconciliation clerk at Three Kings Accounting Ltd. Here, they were responsible for reconciling bank statements and invoices, and they quickly developed a keen eye for detail.

In June 2018, Ed started working as an admissions clerk at LIQUID LEISURE LIMITED. In this role, they were responsible for processing customer admissions and ensuring that all transactions were correctly recorded. Ed also provided excellent customer service, which led to him being promoted to admissions host at THORPE PARK Resort just six months later. In this role, they were responsible for greeting customers and processing their tickets. Ed also provided them with information about the park and helped them to enjoy their day.

In August 2019, Ed started working as a database administrator at Procter & Gamble. During their time there, they worked in the legal office within an international team, assisting against counterfeit producers from around the world. Their primary role was to assist with building cases against counterfeit producers; this involved liaising with a global team and independent detective agencies to build profiles which are used to track counterfeit producers. Ed also successfully built a tool to track and breakdown the number of counterfeit products which had been seized. The tool quickly allowed the user to breakdown and analyse information from seizures. In addition, Ed conducted in-depth analysis on counterfeit products relating to cost and focus areas. Ed subsequently created a presentation of findings which was given to hundreds of people at the Global Brand Protection meeting in Cincinnati.

Ed is currently working as a credit analyst at CapitalRise. In this role, they are responsible for assessing loan applications and determining whether they meet the criteria for approval. Ed is also responsible for monitoring the performance of existing loans and providing reports on any changes or concerns.

Ed Groves has a Masters in Real Estate Finance from Henley Business School and a Master of Science - MS in Real Estate Finance from University of Reading. Ed also studied at University of Nottingham and Halliford School.
