Esther Steyn

Esther Steyn is a seasoned professional in the field of analytics and business intelligence with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Capitec since May 2025, Esther previously held the position of Head of Analytics at Intelligent Debt Management from May 2017 to May 2025. Esther's extensive experience also includes a tenure as an Analyst at Capitec Bank from March 2008 to May 2017 and as a Project Accountant at Stellenbosch University from May 2003 to March 2008. Early career experience includes a role as an Actuarial Assistant at Sanlam from 1997 to 1999. Esther holds an MBA from Stellenbosch University (2002-2003), a BCompt in Accounting from the University of South Africa (1996-2001), and a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Pretoria (1992-1995).
