Francois Cilliers is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in data platforms and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Data Platforms at Capitec since March 2021. Previously, Francois held the position of Head of Data Engineering at Absa Group from June 2015 to March 2021. Francois's early career at Standard Bank Group spanned over thirteen years, where notable roles included Head of Commodities IT, IT Manager for various trading desks, and Senior Manager for Middle Office Technologies.
