Sybrand Jansen van Rensburg

Sybrand van Rensburg is a skilled Product Data Engineer at Capitec since May 2022, currently contributing to the Financial Model Team. Previously, Sybrand held various roles in data engineering, overseeing operational data store management and integrating financial ledgers into SAP while at Capitec and PBT Group. As a Junior Data Engineer and Graduate Data Engineer, Sybrand developed automated tools enhancing data processes. In addition to technical experience, Sybrand has a background in the wine industry, having worked as a Wine Advisor and Site Manager during university studies. Sybrand holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Investment Management from Stellenbosch University. Currently, Sybrand also serves as an Architect Consultant at infraSwap, focusing on cloud architecture initiatives for corporate clients.
