Wim de Bruyn

Wim de Bruyn currently serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Capitec Bank, a position held since November 2014. Prior to this role, Wim de Bruyn worked at Standard Bank from 1992 to 2014, where responsibilities included CIO for Personal and Business Banking, overseeing technology strategy and implementation globally; leading strategy and business architecture for Global Operations; and serving as CIO for Corporate and Investment Banking, focusing on technology for corporate operations worldwide. Wim de Bruyn holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Johannesburg, earned between 1988 and 1991.
