Mario Orellana

Mario Orellana has over 20 years of work experience. Mario currently serves as the Commercial Division Manager at Capitol Concierge Inc., where they lead a team of remote Concierge and Concierge Managers in the DMV region. In this role, Mario provides daily oversight, support, and leadership to ensure the success of their team and the organization.

Prior to their current position, Mario worked at Payless ShoeSource as a District Manager from 2012 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of 12 stores within their assigned geographic area. Mario focused on meeting business plans, staffing effectiveness, and implementing procedures and controls to achieve sales, profit, and shrink goals.

Before their role as a District Manager, Mario worked as a Store Manager at Payless Shoe Stores from 2009 to 2012. Mario successfully managed the highest volume store in the region, consistently achieving the company's standards of store presentation, customer service, and sales, profit, and inventory control.

From 2008 to 2009, Mario served as a Home Improvement Manager at Sears Holding Company. In this role, they managed the Home Improvement department, prepared sales plans, and enforced personnel schedules.

Mario also gained valuable experience as an Area Manager at Hollywood Entertainment from 2000 to 2008. Mario organized and ran weekly conference calls with managers, ordered supplies, and executed loss prevention procedures.

Mario Orellana attended Albert Einstein High School, where they completed their high school education in an unknown field of study. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Anne Arundel College from 2000 to 2002, earning an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management. Following their time at Anne Arundel College, Mario went on to attend Towson University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
