J. Michael Kadick has a diverse work experience in the finance industry, spanning over several decades. J. Michael began their career as a Financial Analyst at Group Hospitalization, Inc. in 1979, where they managed money market portfolios and installed and managed an investment accounting system.
Moving forward, Kadick joined The Johns Hopkins University in 1982 as an Investment Officer, responsible for managing the fixed income portfolio and analyzing the results of external investment managers. J. Michael also managed the university's cash accounts.
In 1984, Kadick transitioned to Mars, Incorporated, where they served as an Investment Analyst. Michael'sresponsibilities included selling distressed and high-yield bonds to institutional investors.
In 1992, Kadick established their own company, Kadick, Incorporated, where they served as the President and Chief Executive Officer. The company had two main business components: Institutional Brokerage and Investment Management. Kadick specialized in researching and trading distressed and high-yield bonds with institutional investors, as well as managing portfolios. The Institutional Brokerage business focused on researching and trading various bonds and bank debt, as well as hybrid securities across industries such as manufactured housing, airlines, automotive rentals, software, natural gas production, and ready-to-assemble furniture.
Continuing their career progression, Kadick joined Miller Tabak Roberts Securities in 2010 as a Senior Vice President. In this role, they managed relationships with institutional investment managers and sold high-yield, distressed, convertible, and emerging markets debt.
Most recently, Kadick worked at H. Rivkin & Co from 2011 to 2013 as an Institutional Sales representative. J. Michael managed existing relationships with institutional investment managers, continuously developed new business opportunities, and researched and sold large blocks of high-yield, distressed, and convertible bonds.
Kadick's latest role was at Capitol Securities Management Inc., where they have been serving as a Senior Vice President since 2013. Specific details about their responsibilities in this position are not provided.
