Mahali Engstrom's work experience spans over a decade, starting in 2005. Mahali began their career at The Hutchinson News, where they worked as a Graphic Design Assistant, managing ad placements and assisting with various print projects. In 2008, they joined Fort Hays State University's University Relations department as a Graphic Designer, creating brochures, logos, banners, and other promotional material. Mahali also collaborated with print shops to ensure high-quality outcomes. Mahali later interned at The Wild Rose, where they were responsible for social media growth and designing print promotional materials. Mahali'srole evolved into that of a Head Bartender, which they held until 2015. Before joining their current position, they worked at Grand Lake Mental Health Center Inc as a Media and Graphic Arts Specialist. Finally, in 2016, they joined Capitol Federal Savings Bank as a Senior Graphic Designer.
Mahali Engstrom began their education at Hutchinson Community College in 2006, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Graphic Design. Mahali attended Hutchinson Community College until 2008 before transferring to Fort Hays State University. At Fort Hays State University, Mahali pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, from 2012 to 2014, Mahali attended Fort Hays State University once again, this time studying Web Development with a focus on Information Networking and Telecommunications. Though they did not complete their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Web Development, they successfully pursued coursework in this field during the specified time period.
