Tim Phelps

Tim Phelps has extensive work experience at Capitol Federal® Savings Bank. Tim started as a Teller in 2009 and worked in that role until 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of CIF Associate/Banking Services Associate, where they worked until 2014. During that same year, they also served as a Red Flags Analyst. In 2014, they became a Banking Operations Analyst and held that position until 2016. In November 2016, they assumed the role of Fraud Strategy Analyst, focusing on identity theft, debit card, and check fraud prevention and mitigation, as well as supporting affected customers.

Tim Phelps attended Kansas State University from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Tim then transferred to Washburn University and studied Business/Corporate Communications from 2009 to 2015. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, Tim attended Fort Hays State University, where they pursued a degree in Organizational Leadership.
