Colleen Hendricks

Colleen Hendricks is an experienced educator and events professional with a diverse background in teaching and event management. Currently serving as a Teacher at Capitol Hill Day School since August 2023, Colleen previously taught at KIPP DC from July 2021 to August 2023. Prior to the education sector, Colleen held multiple positions in event management, including roles as Director of Special Events at City Winery, Director of Events at Stage 48 | Sky Lounge and Restaurant, and Director of Live Music and Events at Canal Room. Colleen’s substantial experience in sales and event coordination is highlighted by roles at The Howard Theatre and B.B. King Blues Club. Colleen earned a degree from Syracuse University, marking a solid foundation for a career that bridges education and event planning.
