Stacey Farnsworth

Stacey Farnsworth is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education and inclusion. Currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Capitol Hill Day School since August 2016, Stacey previously worked at KIPP DC: Quest Academy as a First Grade Inclusion Teacher, managing a diverse classroom in a high-needs area of Washington, DC, from July 2014 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, Stacey was the PreK4 Lead Teacher at KIPP DC: LEAP Academy from July 2008 to June 2014. Stacey holds a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in the Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
