Laura Standard

Laura Standard is an experienced physical therapist with a diverse background in various clinical settings. Currently serving as a physical therapist at Capitol Home Health since January 2022, Laura previously held the position of acute care physical therapist at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital from May 2017 to July 2022. Additionally, Laura has worked as a per-diem physical therapist at a local skilled nursing facility and as a staff physical therapist at Tewksbury Physical Therapy, providing care across a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Laura's early career included internships at Spaulding Hospital Cambridge and clinical placements at MGH Charlestown HealthCare Center and Bay Path Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Laura earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech.
