Greg J. Florio is the Executive Director at Capitol Region Education Council. Greg has dedicated their career to public education, previously serving as the Superintendent of Schools for Cheshire Public Schools and as the Finance Manager for New Britain Board of Education. Greg has a passion for ensuring that all students have access to quality education and opportunity. Greg has worked tirelessly to close the achievement gap and improve educational outcomes for all students. Greg is a respected leader in the education community and has been recognized for their dedication to public education.

Dr. Greg J. Florio is an Educational Doctorate holder in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. Greg also has an MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford and a BS in Business from Fairfield University.
