Prior to this, they established their own consulting business, Personalized Education Consulting LLC, where they provided personalized learning for professionals, focusing on change, performance coaching, feedback, and organizational growth.

Dr. Wlodarczyk has also held various roles in the education sector. Matthew served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University, where they instructed Master's students and designed and implemented curriculum for educational leadership programs. Matthew also worked as the Director of Professional Development at Martin County School District, overseeing performance improvements, leadership development, and online learning management system deployment. Additionally, they served as a Contributing Consultant at ReVision Learning, where they contributed to online course design and enhanced performance and calibration among supervisors.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Wlodarczyk worked as the Director of Teaching & Learning at Newington Public Schools and as the K-12 Science Supervisor at Suffield Public Schools. In both roles, they provided strategic leadership, oversaw curricular initiatives, and implemented standards-based grading. Prior to that, they served as the Principal of Vernon Public School District, where they implemented systems to support comprehensive learning, established professional learning communities, and improved achievement progress.

Matthew Wlodarczyk, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from the University of Vermont in 1992. Matthew then went on to earn their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Connecticut between 1996 and 1998. In 2012, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cognition and Instruction, also at the University of Connecticut.
