Tj Woodard

TJ Woodard is the Pharmacist-in-Charge of Capitol Wellness Solutions (CWS). As the pharmacy manager, TJ oversees the day to day activities of the pharmacy and the CWS team.

In 2013, TJ and his wife opened their first pharmacy, Prescriptions to Geaux, in Downtown Baton Rouge. It was through this experience that TJ saw a true need for additional pharmaceutical options, including Medical Marijuana. TJ began researching the best available options in Medical Marijuana, and joined the team of Capitol Wellness Solutions in the Fall of 2017. TJ, with the team of CWS, is dedicated to safely and professionally providing this truly beneficial therapy to those patients who are desperately in need of it.

TJ received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from The University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2007, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from LSU in 2011. TJ serves on the Board of Directors of both the Louisiana Independent Pharmacies Association (LIPA) and Louisiana Pharmacists Association (LPA).

Outside of work, TJ enjoys spending time with friends and family (Aimee, and their three children, Lilly, Lola, and Wesley), traveling, and playing/watching golf and tennis. TJ is an active parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where all three of his children also attend school.
