Caplin Steriles USA Inc is the wholly owned subsidiary of Caplin Steriles Ltd India, operating as their sales and marketing arm focused on the U.S. market. Caplin Steriles is an R&D driven company focused on the development and manufacturing of high quality Injectables and Ophthalmic products for Regulated Markets. Both divisions are part of Caplin Point Laboratories Limited, the only mid-sized company in India’s pharmaceutical sector to be engaged in the R&D and manufacture of finished formulations, APIs, and clinical research, with a front-end generic presence in Latin America, brand marketing in Francophone Africa. Caplin’s manufacturing facilities are accredited by the US FDA, EU-GMP, INVIMA, WHO-GMP and ANVISA. Caplin Point was established in 1990 by Mr. C.C. Paarthipan, the company’s current Chairman, and in 1994 became a publicly traded company in India. Established with the initial purpose of manufacturing ointments, creams and other external applications, the Company has expanded its product portfolio, global market reach and production capabilities. The Company has been consistently investing in adding new plants, expanding existing capacity, securing quality manufacturing partnerships and fueling product portfolio expansion and diversification.  With our proven performance in simple and complex injectables across development and manufacturing, we are enabled to meet diverse injectable needs. The company has more than doubled its installed capacity in recent times with the activation of Phase 2, and further enhancement of capacities and capabilities is underway with Phase 3 of our plant under construction. The latest expansion would feature high Lyophilization capacities, aseptic filling under Isolator and dedicated fill/finish lines for specific biological products.
