Alberto Esposito

Alberto Esposito has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Alberto began their career as a Freelance Consultant in 2007, where they served as a product manager and gained coding and business management experience. In 2011, they founded Techproof Ltd, where they pioneered the use of OpenVZ lightweight containers and utilized affiliate marketing to grow the company in the gaming industry. Alberto later sold the company after discovering GPL license violations by a supplier.

Esposito also served as the Chief Technology Officer for Ebookgratis.it, overseeing the technical aspects of the Italian free Ebook platform and successfully leading the company to a profitable exit. Alberto ventured into the cryptocurrency space as a Consultant, creating a WordPress plugin to help businesses accept Bitcoin payments and licensing it for transaction fees. Due to security concerns and industry challenges, they retired the service.

In 2014, Esposito founded Ozo.ne Cloud Ltd to develop an IaaS tool, but the release of Google Kubernetes rendered their product obsolete, leading to a significant financial loss. Alberto then founded Safepi.app in 2015 to address the need for secure authentication, creating a Raspberry Pi-based security hardware token. The product evolved into a B2B offering.

Alberto also worked at TIER Mobility, where they excelled as a Senior Back End Engineer, successfully reverse engineering the supplier's Bluetooth protocol to develop an Android/iOS app. Alberto was later promoted to Technical Lead, responsible for aligning various departments with the tech team.

Alberto Esposito completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Milano. Alberto pursued this degree from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico Severi in 2006.
