Priya Mistry

Priya Mistry has a diverse range of work experience in the research and medical fields. Priya began their career as an Intern in the Cardiology Department at CHOC Children's, where they shadowed physicians, observed surgeries, and learned to read Electrocardiograms and Echocardiograms. Priya then worked as a Laboratory Student at Chapman University, where they extracted genomic DNA and performed PCR and cloning experiments. Priya later became an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Chapman University School of Pharmacy, where they conducted experiments on ocular disease models, including corneal extraction, mRNA extraction, qPCR, and protein isolation. Priya also prepared tables, graphs, and reports summarizing research results. Priya then joined LEBRUN LABS LLC as a Research Associate, and subsequently moved to Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. as a Research Associate II and later Research Associate III.

Priya Mistry pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Chapman University, from 2016 to 2020.
