Simon Wouters began their work experience as an Accounting Student at KBC Autolease in July 2019. In July 2020, they worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Raccoons Group. From September to December 2020, they gained hands-on experience as an Impact Investment Analyst Intern at Shaping Impact Group, where they conducted initial screenings of investment opportunities and supported portfolio companies. In October 2021, Simon joined the European Investment Bank (EIB) as an Innovation Finance Advisor trainee, where they gained experience in guiding promotors on structuring innovative projects. Currently, Simon is working as an Investment Analyst at Capricorn Partners starting in March 2022.

Simon Wouters has a diverse education history. Simon began their academic journey at KU Leuven in 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Engineering degree. Simon then embarked on an exchange program in 2017 at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, focusing on Business in Latin America. In 2018, Simon returned to KU Leuven and pursued a Master of Business Engineering, specializing in Technology and Entrepreneurship. In 2019, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Malaya, studying Politics and Governance in Southeast Asia. Most recently, in 2020, Simon attended KU Leuven once again to pursue a Master of Artificial Intelligence with a major in Engineering and Computer Science.
