Brian Flynn

Brian Flynn has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian started their career as a Trainee at RSM Farrell Grant Sparks, Chartered Accountants in 2000, and then went on to work as a Senior at EY in 2004. In 2005, they joined Michael Walsh & Company as a Manager. Brian later became a Partner at Clinton Flynn in 2007 and remained in that role until 2017. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Director & Investment Committee Chair at Waterford Credit Union. Most recently, since 2018, they have been the Principal at Brian Flynn & Co. In 2023, they will assume the role of Head of Investments at Capricorn Society.

Brian Flynn began their education at De La Salle College in Waterford from 1990 to 1995. Brian then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the Waterford Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they enrolled in the Chartered Accountants Ireland program and obtained an ACA qualification from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, Brian went on to further their studies at the Irish Tax Institute, completing a degree in AITI from 2004 to 2006. Brian returned to academia later in their career and completed a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Limerick from 2016 to 2018.
