Head - BIM & VDC at Capricot Technologies

Neelam Gupta has a diverse work experience in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction). Neelam is currently working as the Head of BIM & VDC at Capricot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. since June 2020. Prior to this role, Neelam worked at Capricot Technologies as a BIM Analyst from August 2018 to June 2020.

Before joining Capricot Technologies, Neelam served as an Independent Consultant at OptimusLab Solutions in Mumbai from July 2015 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for implementing BIM protocols and coordination programs using Revit. Neelam also oversaw model production activities, conducted clash detection, quality checks, quantity take-offs, and data conversions.

Neelam also gained experience as an Independent Architect at Node Engineering and Consulting P.C. in 2016. During this time, they contributed to architectural projects independently.

From 2008 to 2015, Neelam held multiple roles at Studio4 Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Neelam worked as a BIM Lead and Senior Project Executive. Their responsibilities included developing feasibility reports, design proposals, and reviewing project specifications, progress reports, contracts, and requirements.

Prior to these roles, Neelam has had various positions as a BIM Coordinator and Revit Coordinator at Peninsula Land Limited (2014-2015), Edifice Consultants (2012-2014), CannonDesign (2011-2012), Viren Brahmabhatt (2011), and Kapadia & Associates (2010-2011).

Neelam Gupta completed their High School education at Kirti M.Doongursee College, Mumbai University in the year 2002. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Bharati Vidyapeeth from 2003 to 2008. Neelam then enrolled in NICMAR, Pune and completed a Graduate degree in Construction Business Management from 2011 to 2012. Neelam also obtained several additional certifications including Autodesk Naviswork 2014 from Autodesk, India in June 2014, Programme Computerised Construction Project Management from the National Institute of Construction Management And Research in September 2011, and Revit Architecture 2011/Certified Professional from Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011 in January 2011. Furthermore, they pursued a Global BIM Certification in Architecture and Construction at ZIGURAT Institute of Technology, although the start and end years of this program are not specified.
