Rene Chaffins

Rene Chaffins has extensive experience in academia and administration. Currently serving in an administrative role at Capright since April 2016, Rene previously held the position of Associate at the same company from January to November 2015. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Instructor at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2014, where Rene taught a three-semester Latin sequence and participated in curriculum discussions. Additionally, Rene was a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2010 to 2012, teaching courses such as "The History of the Ancient Mediterranean" and "Introduction to Public Speaking," which emphasized student participation and discussion. Rene holds a Master of Arts in Classics from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bowling Green State University.
