Scott Hay

Scott Hay has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Scott is currently the Vice President of Portfolio Management at CapRock Partners, where they focus on investing in industrial assets and developing industrial warehouse facilities. Prior to this, they worked at Centennial Bank as a Vice President of Originations, responsible for loan originations in the Western States. Scott also worked at Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital as a Vice President of Originations.

Before that, Scott held the role of Vice President of Debt and Asset Management at Lyon Living, where they led debt and asset management initiatives for a portfolio of apartment communities. Scott also has experience in commercial real estate acquisitions and renovation projects through their roles at Thompson National Properties and Grubb & Ellis Company. At Toll Brothers, Inc., Scott worked as an Assistant Project Manager, analyzing new development opportunities and performing profitability analysis. Early in their career, they worked as a CAD Specialist at Stanford University Architect/Planning Office.

Scott Hay has a diverse education history. Scott started their academic journey at Foothill High School from 1992 to 1996. After completing high school, they continued their education at Stanford University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Product Design. Scott then took a break from formal education before pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2007. Their focus during their MBA studies was on Real Estate Development and Finance.

In 2018, Scott expanded their knowledge by earning a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery through Harvard Business School Online. Continuing their professional development, they obtained the ARGUS Software Certified (ASC) - Enterprise certification from ARGUS Software in December 2017. Additionally, they hold a California Real Estate Broker License, although the institution from which they obtained this license is not specified.
