Nariman Nezami, MD. is Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at University of Maryland School of Medicine as well as Experimental Therapeutics Program, University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. As an interventional radiologist, Dr. Nezami specializes in minimally invasive image guided percutaneous and transarterial interventions with a focus on interventional oncology and immunology procedures for liver cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, biliary system cancers, lung cancers, renal cancer sand bone cancers as well as portal hypertension, deep venous thrombosis and associated complications. He was trained at Johns Hopkins and Yale School of Medicine, and practiced for at Emory University hospital/Winship Cancer Center for a while. He holds professional memberships with Society of Interventional Oncology, Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiology Society of North America and European Society of Radiology.
