Kate Parsons is a non-profit executive and startup founder with nearly two decades of experience in education and innovative career learning. They have served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director at Portal Schools and Portal Learning, where they focused on student-centered school design and strategic planning. Currently, Kate is the Chief Strategy Officer at CAPS Network and operates KP Strategic Consulting, providing expertise in K12 career learning and workforce development. They began their career as an integrated science and chemistry teacher and have also been a founding teacher at Da Vinci Schools, where they developed curriculum and led school initiatives. Kate holds a Master’s in Educational Administration and Leadership from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s in Education from Manhattan University.
