Ruijie Geng is a Software Engineer with experience in software development and research. In 2022, Geng joined CapSen Robotics as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, Geng was an Embedded Software Engineer at Vitesco Technologies, where they executed testing, updated GM ECUs' firmware, and performed requirement engineering. In 2020, Geng was a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they developed and modified machine vision SDK in Snapdragon 820, built a TCP transmission system, and explored using FPGA to do video capture. In 2019, Geng was a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they developed robotic arm and moving base ROS control API and camera API, simulated the laboratory environment in the Gazebo world, and utilized move group interface in MoveIt! and ROS to build a sampling-based path planner.
Ruijie Geng completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2016 and 2020. Ruijie then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Robotics Technology/Technician from the University of Michigan, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
