Laura Hartwell

Laura has over 10 years’ experience defending clinical negligence claims on behalf of NHS Resolution and has worked internally at a number of Acute and Mental Health Trusts. She also has extensive experience in acting on instructions from and working in-house with a number of different medical malpractice Lloyd’s insurer clients.

Laura is a principal associate in the claims department, managing a varied and complex case load, involving multi million pound claims with multiple Defendants. Laura has a particular interest in stroke cases and won a trial for NHS Resolution on a novel and repercussive issue. She also has a keen interest in mental health cases and has dealt with a number of sensitive homicide cases.
