Cashel Meagher

Cashel Meagher has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Cashel is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer at Capstone Copper since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Independent Director at Generation Mining starting from February 2020.

Before that, Meagher worked at Hudbay Minerals Inc. for several years in various positions. Cashel was the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from December 2015 to December 2021. Cashel also held roles as VP, South America from October 2011 to December 2015, VP, Exploration from March 2010 to October 2011, and Director, Technical Services and Exploration from November 2008 to March 2010.

Meagher's previous work experience includes serving as General Foreman at Vale in 2008, Superintendent in Business Analysis and Exploration at Vale Inco from January 2006 to August 2007, and Chief Mine Geologist at Inco from January 2003 to January 2006. Cashel started their career at Inco as a Mine Geologist in January 2000.

Cashel Meagher attended St. Francis Xavier University from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Joint Advanced Major in Geology and Chemistry.
