Scott Robinson, CPA/MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over four decades. Scott is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Capstone Green Energy since July 2022. Before their current role, Scott was semi-retired from October 2021 to July 2022.
Prior to their retirement, Scott worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Lear Capital/Blockmint, LLC, a privately owned gold and silver dealer, from December 2012 to November 2021. In this role, they supervised accounting and finance activities, implemented a new ERP system, and re-engineered processing.
From January 2010 to December 2012, Scott worked as a Management Consultant at Vaco Resources. Scott provided financial, accounting, and operational consulting services, focusing on process re-engineering, internal controls, SEC reporting, and M&A. Scott'sclients included NBCUniversal and the Walt Disney Company.
Before Vaco Resources, Scott held the position of SVP Finance at Jakks Pacific, an international toy, pet product, stationery, and video game company. Scott worked there from May 2004 to November 2009, overseeing due diligence on acquisition targets and coordinating valuation activities.
Scott also worked as a Director at Jefferson Wells, a financial consulting firm, from 2003 to 2004. Scott managed the Los Angeles office and supervised financial consulting activities for clients such as DirecTV, THQ, Northrop Grumman, and K. Swiss, Inc.
In addition, Scott served as the CFO at CareerPath.com, a worldwide web site, from 1997 to 2002. Scott was responsible for financial management and played a key role in the site's growth before it was acquired by CareerBuilder.
Scott's early career includes a Directorship at Walt Disney Internet Group from 1995 to 1997 and a Senior position at Deloitte from 1978 to 1983.
Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in financial management, accounting, consulting, and strategic decision-making.
Scott Robinson, CPA/MBA, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from USC Marshall School of Business. Scott also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
