Yimin "Joseph" Huang

Yimin "Joseph" Huang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Yimin "Joseph" started their career at Procter & Gamble as a Category Financial Analyst from July 1995 to August 1997. Yimin "Joseph" then joined SAP Labs as a Software Developer from May 2001 to December 2004, where they were involved in the development of SAP solutions for the financial service industry. Yimin "Joseph" had complete software life cycle experience, including requirement gathering, program specifications, design, programming, testing, and customer support/consulting.

In December 2004, Yimin joined Capstone Green Energy as an SAP Solution Architect. In this role, they had full responsibility for all ERP functions, such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, WM, Customer Service, and more. Yimin "Joseph" also handled Business Intelligence using SAP BusinessObjects platforms and data services and integrated the ERP system with other software systems. Over their 15+ projects, they provided cross-functional technical leadership, software configuration/customization, ABAP/Java programming, data migration, user training, and offshore consultant management.

Currently, Yimin holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Capstone Green Energy. Yimin "Joseph" leads an internal team of 7 professionals and collaborates with over 30 technology vendors. Yimin "Joseph" manages a multi-million dollar annual budget and demonstrates expertise in enterprise software applications like SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Yimin "Joseph" also has knowledge in cybersecurity.

Yimin "Joseph" Huang has a strong educational background in computer science, economics, and finance. Yimin "Joseph" earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Peking University in 1995. Following that, they pursued further education at Purdue University from 1997 to 2001 and obtained two Master's degrees: one in Computer Science and another in Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Joseph has also acquired several certifications in various areas. In 2017, they completed online courses in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Machine Learning," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" through Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for "AWS Big Data Fundamentals" and "AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials." Joseph also completed courses offered by SAP, including "Building Applications with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CDS)," "Software Development on SAP HANA (2.0 SP03)," "Fiori App with ABAP RESTful Model," "S/4 Hana ABAP Code Adaptation," "Troubleshoot Fiori App with ADT for Eclipse," and "Machine Learning to SAP HANA with Python" at SAP TechEd.
