Mili Naik,PMP®

Mili Naik, PMP®, has a strong background in project management and has worked in various roles over the years. Mili is currently working as a Project Coordinator at Capstone Infrastructure Corporation since July 2021.

Prior to their current role, Mili worked as a Project Manager at VIRTUAL Engineers from June 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they successfully managed a 10MW Combined heat and power (CHP) project in Jamaica. Mili was also responsible for handling international and local procurement for the project.

Before joining VIRTUAL Engineers, Mili worked at Tata Power Solar Systems Limited. Mili held the position of Assistant Manager from April 2018 to January 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Deputy Manager from April 2015 to March 2018. During their time at Tata Power Solar Systems Limited, Mili was involved in end-to-end project planning of ten large-scale ground-mount solar projects ranging from 50MW to 350MW on an EPC basis.

Mili also gained valuable experience during their tenure at TATA Power, where they worked as a Project Engineer from April 2011 to April 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee from July 2010 to March 2011, gaining hands-on experience in the field of 220/110/22kV switchyard.

Mili Naik, PMP®, has a diverse education history. In 2006, they obtained a B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Odisha University of Technology and Research. In 2012, they pursued a Certificate in Project Management from NICMAR University. Continuing their education, from 2014 to 2016, Mili completed an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Operation Management at Alliance University. More recently, in 2020, they attended Humber College and completed a program called Engineering Connections.

In addition to their formal education, Mili has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Microsoft Project from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. In 2019, they achieved the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, Mili acquired two additional certifications: one in Canadian Language Benchmarks from the YMCA of Greater New York and another in Software Processes and Agile Practices from the University of Alberta.
